Brooklyn at 19 Months

Brooklyn turned 19 months on July 20th.  It's honestly amazing how quickly time passes.  I'm amazed by it daily.  Well here is what you are up to at 19 months.
*You HATE to have your diaper changed.  The other day I was trying to change your diaper and somehow my thumb nail hit your face and scratched you.  Blood came out, you screamed, I held you tight and felt TERRIBLE.  So I came to a decision.  If you don't want your diaper changed, that is fine, but you then need to learn how to use the bathroom.  So we kinda started potty training.  We made a chart and started having you sit on the potty (and giving you lots to drink) and low and behold you started going on the potty.  You had 7 squares you had to get stickers in before you could get a new toy (that was your reward).  So here is our potty routine.  You wear a pull-up (you love those things), you go every 30-45 mins., when you go you wipe, flush, get a sticker and a skittle.  You LOVE that routine too.  We started this chart on a Saturday night and by Wednesday morning you had it full.  So now we have another chart (twice as many squares) and today alone you got 5 stickers (you went pee three times and poop once).  We are amazingly impressed with this.  Soon, once you really get the hand of it we will get rid of pull ups and go to underware.  You still have accidents so we can't do that quite yet.  B we are proud of you.
*You and your sister have started fighting ALL the time.  Yes, I love you both but you two are going to drive me crazy.  Up until this point you loved each other, you shared, it was amazing.  I guess that time has ended...
*You talk a little more, still talking isn't your most favorite thing to do.  You'd rather yell or scream so we work very hard on "using your words."
*You started a new daycare and you LOVE it.  Seriously on the second day you reached your hands out to Ms. Pat and waved good-bye to me.  When they say listen to your kids, do it, because both of my girls LOVE LOVE LOVE Ms. Pat's.  It's obvious how much she loves these kids.  Ayla has even informed me she'd rather go to her house than stay home with me.  I feel the love!
*You've been healthy.  In April you went off of your antibiotics that you were on for five months and you haven't had an ear infection since.  Thank you God for looking over our little girl!
*I love this, we say cheese and you do this HUGE smile.  It's my new favorite thing you do!
*You love to kiss people (seriously you had to kiss your speech teacher good-bye today) and give people high fives.

Again Brooklyn dearest, we love you so very much.  Life just wouldn't be the same without you.  God knew what he was doing when he added you to our family.  We are so blessed!
