We are about to embark on a HUGE adventure this weekend. We are flying to Clearwater, FL to check out and pick up a motorhome that we have put a deposit on and will probably buy. It's a 32 foot long motorhome, with two slides, and just enough room for our family. We are very excited. I am a bit worried about how Ayla will do on the plane. We are leaving home at 5 am on Friday morning, Derek is driving us to the airport, and then we will get to FL at noon. After that Joe and the guy will have a long afternoon of conversations and learning for Joe. Hopefully Friday night we will be on our way. This is going to be a long drive for Ayla, but I have about anything and everything you can get to entertain a young child her age. We have to be back by Monday, so that doesn't leave a lot of time to play, but we will be sure to visit a beach. I am investagating beaches right now. We might drive along the coast and then come up through Alabama. We are still in the planning stages. Tomorrow is packing day! I will report how it went when we get home.
Below are some pictures of Ayla's first fall. She fell walking into daycare the other morning and then again the following day at grandpa and grandma's house. Both times she just grabs her hand or knee (whatever she fell on) and says, "Ouch, Ouch, Ouch." She's a tough cookie.
