We're Home!!!

We sure had a trip, but it was an adventure that we will remember for some time. Ayla is SO off schedule, so that will be my job in the next week....to get her back to normal. We flew out Friday morning at 8:50am. Landed in St. Petersburg, FL around noon. By 4:30 we had our new motorhome and went to a Wal-Mart. There we got the needed food for the trip back. Ayla saw a baby doll and we got it for her. It turns out that it was $15 well spent because she played and fed that baby the whole way home. Friday night we stayed at a state park that was beautiful. It was a lot of fun. Then Saturday we went to the beach (Ayla hated it). After that we headed home. We made it to Perry, GA where we stayed in the Wal-Mart parking lot (yes, a lot of people have laughed at us for that one). The next day we made it to Paducah, KY. That day we drove and drove then got stuck in an accident where they SHUT DOWN the highway. We went 2 miles in 2 1/2 hours (good thing we had everything on board....I made lunch for everyone, everyone went to the bathroom, etc.). After making it to Nashville we went to the zoo there. Then we ate at Longhorn and called it a day when reaching Paducah that night at 9:30. Then this morning we got up at 6:30 and got home by 12:30. I have to give my daughter all the credit in the world. She was beyond good and a great trooper. We were really proud to be her parents. We can't wait for the adventures we will have in our new motorhome.
