Ayla's First Day of Preschool

Ayla started preschool today at Discovery Days Preschool, which is located at the Missouri United Methodist Church. It starts at 9am and goes until 1pm, so either Joe or I pick her up at 1 and move her to Kerry's house where she takes her nap, eats a snack, and plays a little before we pick her up from there. Needless to say, today was a huge day for Ayla. She had a blast. She told me how they read two books, painted, played outside two times, tried to sing Farmer and the Dell but no one knew the words, so they sang Old McDonald Had A Farm, and ate lunch (minus her toothpicks, they aren't allowed there). Ayla will do this routine two days a week, on Monday and Wednesday's and the other days she will be at home with mom.

Tonight after her big day she came home and practiced and practiced and practiced riding her tricyle. She practiced for over an hour and got it all figured out. She told me that she was riding to St. Louis (Joe had to go to St. Louis today for work), had her coupons, and was ready to go. I love watching her play at this age, it's really something else!
