What a fun and busy weekend we had in KC. We stayed in our motorhome in World's of Fun Village (we went there last year too). This year Alan and Linda brought their camper and stayed with us. We had a great time. Friday we took Ayla to Crown Center to Kalidascope. She loved that place and played with all the stuff she got there all weekend long. Then that night we went swimming. Saturday we went to Oceans of Fun. She was scared of a lot of the stuff and honestly didn't do much there. We had a fun time though, the weather was beautiful on Saturday. Then Sunday we ventured into Overland Park. Ayla wanted to get an Abby back-pack. We searched and searched and couldn't find any in the town, so she settled on a princess one. That night we made a yummy dinner, snowcones, and decided to keep Ayla up for the fireworks. However, the weather didn't cooperate with us. It poured, and poured. We were shocked that they still lit them off, but they did. So we enjoyed them inside our motorhome, which Ayla thought was pretty cool. It was a terrific weekend. More great memories made this weekend...
