Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas Day this year. Joe and I both agreed that it was our best ever! Christmas morning we woke up and opened presents together as a family. Then we spent the morning just chilling out. It took Ayla nearly 4 hours to get all of her presents opened. She would open one, want to play with it, and forget about opening anymore. It was a hoot to watch. Then after Ayla's nap we headed to mom and Ken's house. There we ate, opened presents, and played games. Joyce and Dale were unable to make it due to the snow, so they were missed, but we still had a great time. Ayla really got Christmas this year, and it was so fun to watch her enjoy the season and the meaning of the season. And I have to mention, Ayla was so excited to see "the boy" otherwise known as "cousin Caleb."
