It has been very hectic at our house lately. We have had so much going on that it seems like we aren't home long enough to catch our breaths.
Let's see on the 10th of February Ayla had her 4 month check-up, even though she was almost 4 1/2 months old. She weighed 13 pounds 8 1/2 ounces and was 24 3/4 inches long, both being in the 50th percentile. The doctor said that she looked healthy and that we could start feeding her rice cereal. So we have started that (pictures of that will come soon, I am not on the computer with pictures on it right now). Ayla seems to enjoy eating her cereal...even though she hasn't figured out the whole swallowing thing yet, but she will in time.
The business was VERY busy last week, so thank goodness our friend Jessica was able to watch her two days and mom watched her one day. So needless to say, she hasn't been with us as much as she is used to. While Jessica was keeping her last week she took this picture of her, I think it's adorable.
Ayla is also experiencing her first cold. Dad got it first, then Ayla, and then mom. So we have all shared it. Thank goodness we are at the tail end of it.
Last night Ayla said good-bye to her Aunt Chris as we all gathered to wish her farewell as her and her husband, Uncle Derek to Ayla, are moving to New York. We had a good time at Olive Garden with the family. I forgot to take my camera, so we have no photos of that event.
Today, Saturday, Ayla is enjoying a nice quiet day at home.
